The end of the road

Thanks to everyone who took the time to read, explore and comment on my time in Uganda. I hope through my stories you were able to learn a little bit about life in Africa. One of my major realizations during my time in Uganda was not the differences between us, but rather the similarities. Simply put we all seem to want the same or similar things in life. The only thing that seems to be the real difference is that we in the North tend to have the wealth, at least monetary. However Ugandans are truly a wealthy people in terms of love, friendship, community and life.

I hope this site can be a resource for anyone seeking information on Uganda, East Africa, or African life in general. Since I no longer live in Uganda there will no longer be any more updates but I shall leave the site here, as well as it's picture gallery up for all those who are still interested. Maybe someday in the future I will have compiled my writings and will present you all with a more in depth look at my time.
